APPOINTMENTS AND FEE INFORMATION

The full-service terms and conditions will be discussed during the first consultation. These service terms and conditions are in line with the PoPI (Protection of Personal Information) Act.

PSYCHOTHERAPY AND HYPNOTHERAPY APPOINTMENTS:

Appointments for psychotherapy and hypnotherapy can be made directly or with a doctor’s referral. The appointment can be made telephonically by calling 083 635 2476 or via email to info@adeleromanis.co.za   

PSYCHO-LEGAL APPOINTMENTS:

Dr Adele Romanis works with Dr Amanda Grobler, Clinical Psychologist, in psycho-legal matters. A referral letter must be e-mailed to us at info@adeleromanis.co.za

THE REFERRAL LETTER FOR PSYCHO-LEGAL MATTERS MUST STATE:

Once this is received, you will receive a reply to your e-mail. This reply will include a quotation for the requested forensic services. Once the quotation is accepted, in writing, appointment(s) for the psycho-legal interviews and assessment. 

Thereafter a psycho-legal report will be written and upon settlement of the account the report will be made available to the referring party. 

If requested, Dr Adele Romanis and/or Dr Amanda Grobler can appear in court to give expert witness testimony, however this will be billed for separately and will include Dr Adele Romanis’ and Dr Amanda Grobler’s reservation, preparation and qualification fee. 

Private clients (clients acting on their own behalf) can follow the same procedure.

CASH PRACTICE

FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY AND HYPNOTHERAPY

Face to face sessions are settled at the end of each consultation (cash or card). Online sessions are settled via EFT prior to the session.

PSYCHO-LEGAL FEES:

Family mediation consultations as well as any form of psycho-legal evaluation (evaluations forming part of a legal process) cannot be claimed from medical aids as it is not regarded as medical treatment. These consultations need to be paid either by credit/debit card payment, cash at the end of the consultation or by means of EFT prior to the consultation.

  • Time for the writing of a report is charged for separately.
  • Psycho-legal consultations reports are not covered by medical aid.
